I have 3 kids and have used many different car seats. My favorite convertible has been the Chicco Nextfit Zip, until now. I debated on spending the money on this seat when I have a perfectly good rear facing seat already but the great reviews combined with the thought of not having to heave my baby up over the side of the rear facing seat convinced me to give it a try. At first, I wasn’t sure I was going to like it but after using it for a few weeks, I love it!Pros: 1) the option to swivel both forward and rear facing is by far the biggest pro. It is so much easier to get my baby in and out and to make sure he is buckled in securely since I’m not at such an awkward angle trying to get him in. He also doesn’t whine about being buckled in like he used to. The swivel feature is easy to use and turns smoothly without much effort 2) I like that the seat comes out of the base for installation which makes the car seat much lighter and easier to maneuver than having to carry it all in one. 3) Seems pretty comfy and has options to help make it comfy depending on the size of your child including removable body padding, head rest and different crotch buckle options. 4) the built in cup holders are niceCons: 1) I havent had to wash the padding and cover yet but it looks like it might be a pain to take off and put back on. It definitely won’t be easier than the Nextfit zip where I can just zip it on/off. 2) the harness strap material is much thinner and more flexible than my other car seat straps which allows them to get twisted easily. However, they are also easy to untwist. 3) Only 2 reclining levels which means that it does take up more room rear facing than my other car seats which I can sit up more. But it’s really only a couple inches difference. 4) I chose to install with the seatbelt so I don’t have to worry about weight limits with the latch system. It was not the trickiest car seat I’ve installed but also not the easiest. 5) Doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as my Britax and Chicco seats but I’m assuming it had to pass the same safety testing which is the most important part to me.Overall, I’m very happy with this car seat and would recommend it!!!

This was a gift to my sister for her first child. She said it was cute and continent as it turned and it was easy to take the baby in and put him back in the car seat. No big mess or trouble.

Wanted a swivel car seat from the day I found out I was pregnant but waited until my little was a bit older and we didnt need to use the infant seat with the stroller all the time. My little is almost 10 months old, and in the last few months has started hating being in her car seat. She would cry as soon as we sat her in it and until we took her out. This car seat has made such a difference so far(but we are only 3 or 4 days into using it). The install was simple, but also a little tricky for me. The base seems very stable, but once the seat is on it it no longer seems that stable. I assume its because the seat pivots, I did have my husband come and check my install. My little seems very comfortable in this seat! Being able to load her in and then turn it to rear facing is a game changer for us!!! So glad I finally purchased this and it will continue to work and grow with her for years to come!!!

The bigger my baby got, the harder it was to lean down and over to get him in and out. This was the best Christmas present ever, saves my back and makes it so much easier to get a wiggly, resistant toddler buckled in. Cupholders are nice, it’s been wiping clean very well in the 10 months that we’ve owned it, and I love that it will also rotate front-facing when the time comes (other rotating car seats don’t do both). It’s relatively easy to install (let’s face it, no car seat is “a breeze” to install, but this one wasn’t any more difficult than others, at least). Everyone who sees me using it is super jealous, and I recommend it to everyone.

We love this car seat. We have one child so the car seat is in the middle of the back seat and the swivel feature makes it so easy to get her in and out, and for her to start helping herself in and out. Seems to be much quicker for us compared to other parents at daycare. After one year we’ve had no issues with the seat. The cover is easy enough to remove and wash and being able to leave the base in while taking the seat inside to clean is very convenient. We don’t normally move the seat from car to car but have had to do it twice in emergencies and being able to move the base independently makes it so easy to swap. The removable cup holders are easy to clean. Our daughter seems to love the seat, no issues with rubbing or crankiness. It’s a snug fit in the back seat of a Prius but it does fit with just a little bit of rubbing on the front seats, but not enough to cause any excess wear on the seat.

It is definitely on the pricier end of carseats, but being able to rotate it makes it so much more comfortable for you and baby. I got it for my 11 month old and she is so much happier with her new space. I haven’t had to wash it yet, but I hope it’s not too bad. I also had a hernia surgery recently and the rotation feature is less strenuous on my core.SIZE: I have a Toyota RAV 4 and she is rear-facing behind the passenger seat. I had to move my passenger seat forward to accomadate the carseat. I am 5’2″ and losing some leg room didn’t bother me, but it did make it cramped for taller/heavier passengers. You can’t get the older model anymore that I just got, but I’m so glad we spent the extra money for this. If you can swing it, this has been very nice so far. I hope it works for the next 2-3 years at least.

I absolutely love this car seat! The installation wasn’t as bad as the other reviews made it seem, I read the instructions and watched some videos. Didn’t take too long. I was debating for a bit on which color but loved the gray and pink, so we got it. My daughter seems to like it more than the infant carrier car seat as she doesn’t scream her head off nearly as much. The turn to me is what made me purchase this and I don’t regret it one bit.The only negative I have for this seat is the shoulder cushions. I don’t like that they have the no slip material on the back of them, I can’t imagine that’s comfortable for my daughter when she’s in tank tops. If it was all soft cushion as the front I would be much happier. All in all, worth the price, super cute, and convenient!**edit I’m not sure why my photos make the car seat look dirty with lines but I promise it’s not! Looks like my camera maybe glitched and I didn’t notice, it’s beautiful and not dirty lol

So I’m the mom who hits her kids head off the car every tiiiiiime I put them in the car because I’m focusing on which way to face them and put them feet first.. come onnnn. But we recently bought two of these! Putting the kid in the car with them facing you is the best thing ever. Like putting them in a stroller but it’s in the car and you do it so much more and it rocks. Thing number 2 I love is that I can face my baby to the rear when there is no one in my passenger seat. I have a 2019 Honda Civic hatchback and there’s not a lot of room for car seats. But I like safety and being able to rear face him when it’s just me and him, and then being able to face him fwd when we need some room. GAME CHANGER. This seat is awesome. We have one in each of our cars which helps my husband because he can’t figure out new things, make it easy on him AND ME because I don’t have to run to his rescue to explain something that he refuses to listen to anyway. So it helps my kid not get brain damage, helps whoever rides in the passenger seat not have to sit at the dashboard like a table and hubby knows how to work it. He put the bases in our cars and I don’t think it’s coming out until he goes to a booster. Lol. I love being able to spin that sucker whatever way he should face that day.

We love this seat! We have it in multiple cars ranging from a large SUV, truck, to a smaller crossover. In the crossover we have it behind the passenger seat as the driver seat will touch the seat when in the drivers preferred position but it is not a big deal at all. Our child does not cry or complain when in this seat- which she did in her infant carrier- so it must be comfy. I love that it rotates towards you to get the child in and out easily. This seat will carry us through and should be the only other seat we need which is amazing- especially considering the price. It was very easy to install. I have had no issues using the rotating feature and it has not gotten stuck. We lean the seat all the way back (in rear facing mode) and then rotate it to get her out. When she is not in it we have it forward facing and do not experience and jiggling noises coming from the seat. I have had to wash it a few times already and at first it was tricky to take off the cover but now that I have it figured out it is very easy and washes well.Overall, 10/10 recommend this seat.

So far we love this carseat! I drive a Ram 2500 that is very tall. So it’s so nice on my back to just turn the little guy towards me to get him in and out. I am a little concerned about this summer and how warm he may get in his seat. So far there were only a few times that he came out of it really sweaty on a warm day, but that could have also been from the AC vent being blocked by stuff. So I will keep an eye on it and make sure the cool air is going back to him. Today he seemed to do better at 68 degrees outside in our black truck with AC on. So I think that just may have been the problem. I am sure when I can face him forward it will be even better because he will be facing the AC vent. So all in all we are pretty happy with this seat. 😊
