The perfect addition to our second car so we don’t have to stay the seat in with the seatbelt! Extremely easy to install with the new click system … we didn’t have to pull the straps and try to tighten! And the added load let for safety gives us such a piece of mind while traveling with our little peanut!

So I’m writing this to advise drivers to check their cars first before buying. This is not a negative review on Uppababy but just a heads up for car owners.The Mesa Max Base fits perfectly in the center rear seat of my wife’s 2020 Honda CRV. However my 2018 Ford F-150 Supercrew Cab does not have “LATCH” anchors in the center seat, and that same seatbelt is designed in a way that it doesn’t work with the base seatbelt securing features. However there are LATCH anchors on both side seats, behind driver and passenger. It’s really a vehicle specific issue more than a Uppababy one.Just double check your car(s) ahead of time to save a potential disappointment if you plan to use the base in the center seat only!
