My fur baby loves his big boy bed! And the handles on the end work wonderfully to display all his collars. I used one crib mattress and a foam pad on top to make it more comfortable. And I love the fact that I can decorate it with sheets to match my bed!

Bed came in took me about an hour to put together. Heavy box (quality wood) Very easy to do. I used lock tight on all the hardware as for it will never be taken apart. The wood slats were of great quality. My daughter loved it and sleeps safely in it. She likes to jump on it and I feel she’s safe in doing so really sturdy bed. I like the peace of mind that she can’t roll out of it while she sleeps cause she likes to move all night long. Highly recommend it great bed. Happy with my purchase.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. The bed for the price is much better quality than I expected. Some have referred to the difficulties of assembly but I found no missing parts and no true difficulties in assembling the bed. I truly did not even look at the instructions so I can’t opine as to the usefulness therein. To me it was very straight forward if you have even a small amount of DIYness and a bit of common sense as to how parts fit together. Use caution as to screw placement. There are shorts and longs with dedicated positioning. I did discover that there are four screws designed to be placed in the stretchers that join the foot and head together and these screws can very easily be used in other places because the fit the round nuts just like all the other screws. When I reached that point I had only one screw that actually fit, soon identified the problem, and had to back track to find out where I had mis-used them. They have a slightly tapered end to them which differs them from all others. Not easy to see unless you are looking for the taper. The only thing I needed that wasn’t supplied was a slot driver (more commonly none as a flat tip screwdriver) which is very handy for positioning the round nut while inserting the actual bolt or screw. remember to use the “balled” end of the hex wrench for the stretcher screws. It allows the wrench to pivot just slightly which is necessary to tighten the screws. The reality is that it is not Ethan Allen quality for this price but who wants to put big money in a toddler bed that will only be used for a very short period of time. Lastly any standard crib mattress will fit this bed and my granddaughter absolutely loves it as her first big girl bed. She just had her third birthday. Buy it, exercise common sense and patience, then enjoy.
