This set is so great. Honestly I wanted it because my little guy loves the maracas but the little xylophone and tambourine are awesome, too. It also has a triangle, kazoo, and like a little wood block thing? Not sure what that one is called, but everything is nice quality and sounds great! Highly recommend!

If my toddler understood rating systems, he would give this a 5 out of 5 stars. He is so obsessed with this collection of musical instruments. The first day, he played with it for 3 hours straight with his favorite song on repeat. It’s such a great variety of instruments. I’m not too crazy about the idea of him putting the trumpet-ish one in his mouth but it’s fine. I would also prefer if the xylophone sticks were less…dangerous and pointy. He’s always running around with it despite our worries so we have had to take it away and use less rigid and pointy items to substitute. I also caught him trying to put the end of one of the xylophone sticks up his nose. Luckily, he’s always under supervision but i would caution parents who don’t have a 24/7 eye on the toddlers with this set for those particular reasons.Everything is well made though. Color aesthetic is nice too. Colorful but not too jarring on the eyes. They all make great noises.

We’re a musical family and love having new sounds. These kid instruments were initially for our nephew and other littles to play like the grown-ups, but I’d be remiss to leave out that even we are having fun with them. Everything is solid wood and/or metal, well made, and attractively finished. Most importantly, each instrument has a musical tonality, if a little basic. It’s fun to get together, pretend we’re on Jimmy Fallon, and jam along to popular songs.

These wooden instruments are not only beautiful, but they actually sound great too! I picked up this set for my little girl’s Easter basket and I’m so glad I did. They are beautifully painted and they are smooth to the touch and free of nuts and splinters. She’s 18 months old which is under the recommended age, but she’s able to use everything except the tambourine and the triangle. Really, she would be fine using those under supervision, but she has a tendency to to row things right now so the triangle isn’t safe, and she would likely put a hole through the tambourine, but I’m sure she’d be able to use that otherwise. Everything sounds great, including the xylophone which is in tune. I have another xylophone from a famous German toy maker and that one isn’t in tune so I’m pleased this one is. I love the gentle colors as well as gorgeous wood. Perfect t beginner set for thhe budding musician in your life.

Honestly these are really built solid in my opinion. Every toy seems to be well put together! I was expecting with the price of this toy set there would be lack in quality but the there weren’t any! 100% recommend this for any parent with young children!
