I never wanted to install another gate again after I installed another brand… it was horrendous. I’m so grateful I found this easy install gate… it was absolutely amazing and took me no more than half an hour total. Working well so far… only nit is that it’s kind of loud to open or close which isn’t great if you have a baby sleeping nearby.

What is there to not like about this gate? I’ve had children, grandchildren and pets through the years and including a massive amount of baby gates. Hands down the best gate on the market. We have tall moulding for our base boards and this is the only gate I could find that allowed a clearance for that. If something is wrong with your gate then I am sure it has been installed wrong or you didn’t get your dimensions right for the opening. This gate works brilliantly and very sturdy.vWe had my 1 year old grandson here for Christmas and the top of the stairs needed to be secure. I had complete faith in it. Worth every penny.

This is a great product and very easy to setup. It is very sturdy with an all metal construction that screws directly into the studs. It is heavy duty compared to the light weight and latches closed nicely. Definitely seems like the best option without spending too much.

I had a few other gates before I found this one and those were all garbage compared to this one. In my opinion the set up on this gate is perfect. AS LONG AS YOU INSTALL IT PROPERLY. I saw some videos of people complaining about this gate and they clearly did not attach it to their wall the right way. The one I got took less than 5 minutes to install and is very secure. Very easy for the adults to open. Probably going to get at least 2 more. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Was hesitant to buy this because of the plastic-y looking and bulky footprint of the wall pieces but we really didn’t want to drill into our baseboards so needed something that would clear the height and go into the wall instead. Perfect compromise here, I’d rather look at that eye sore than drill the base boards or buy expensive adapters. It is sturdy, and safe. I saw other reviews of the gate swinging open with a gentle push and that is not the case. They did not install that gate correctly because this is a secure gate that we’re using at the top of the stairway. I purposely abused it and it did not open at all. We installed it in such a way so that there is 5in of space between the floor and bottom of the gate so that our cat could barely squeeze under, but also so that our baby would not fit through. If that becomes an issue when she gets a little more clever then we can always reinstall it lower but I really don’t think it will be a problem how we have it now. There is also two latches which you can flick up or down to control the direction that the door would swing in. Added bonus, put both of those latches down and I think the door would be extra secure, in addition to the locking mechanism, and would not swing in either direction. Tried uploading a video of everything but it’s taking way too long to upload so

By far the easiest baby gate we’ve installed, and much sturdier than the traditional mounted gates we’ve tried in the past. The gate opens and latches easily, and mounts directly to the drywall so that we didn’t need to drill into the baseboard trim.

The media could not be loaded. I love this gate so much that I made a video review! I highly recommend this baby gate to every parent. The functionality, malleable width, and steel strength make this the PERFECT gate for every household.Dad approved with my 19 month old daughter and son on the way.As always, look for studs to screw into for added strength.

Baby gate is working great! We have had it up a month and going great. We are currently using it separate our dog from our newborn baby. The material of the gate is very sturdy. We had to attach it with a few modifications (described below), but I definitely recommend. We have not had it tested against a toddler yet, but I imagine it would be as good or better than any other design. I have good hope that this arrangement will last us a decent amount of timeThe pivot side of the gate is attached directly to the dry wall. I did not use the screws it came with because other reviews seemed to recommend against it. There was no stud where I wanted to place the gate, so I used Hillman Pop Toggle 3/8 inch dry wall anchors x 6 (rated as 60 lb each), and that side seems to be pretty securely attached into the dry wall. For the other side (where the gate actually opens), we have a 3.25 inch square bannister. To avoid drilling into the banister, I bought a separate bannister adapter which is essentially a [1.5 in W x 30 in H x 1 in D] wood plank that zipties to the bannister so we can drill into the wood plank. For the gate’s 4 side screws I had to use a 3/4-inch right angle brace to get it to attach to the side of bannister adapter (see picture). I used [1/4-inch x 1-inch machine screw] to attach the [right angle brace to the gate] and [1-in wood screw] + [washers x 3] to attach the [right angle brace to the bannister adapter]. The width of the plank was a little less than the gate side, so I had to use washers to make up the difference. All said and done, that seems feels really sturdy as well.Supplies:Hillman Pop Toggle 3/8 dry wall anchorBannister adapter3/4-inch right angle brace1/4-inch x 1-inch machine screw1-inch wood screwwashers

Finally! A game that is straight forward to install. This was the 6th gate we bought for the top of our stairs. After several weeks of trying to install other gates, this one took about 30 mins. The gate comes already packaged with spacers for the floor so it is level right away. It is easy to adjust to the correct width. This is it

The media could not be loaded. This is the second baby gate I purchased. I have a two story condo and wanted a sturdier option for the top of the stairs. I have been very happy with this containing a very active an large 13 month old baby and a border collie. The baby stands up and shakes the gate and it doesn’t budge. It is easy enough for adults to open and close the gate one handed as well. I would consider myself average when it comes to being handy and did have my wife help on the install. We had to make adjustments because it wasn’t lined up correctly on the first go around and had to lower one side but works great now. I did purchase some longer/higher quality screws from my local hardware store to give it some additional hold. I also had to add some wood given the trim around my steps.
