I owned an infant optics monitor for a couple years, (from what I hear that is a long time for them to last). I recently moved and set up the infant optics monitor in my sonâs room. I turned it on and the screen started having an imprint of an image on it that would not go away. I decided to replace it.I was never a big fan of the infant optics monitor quality anyway, so I looked around. I found this monitor, looked at the other reviews, saw the price and ordered within 5 minutes! (I never do this because I always research for hours before I invest in something, especially at a cheaper price point). This was the best impulse purchase I could have made! I am so happy with it!! The night vision is great. There is no âpairingâ process, it just auto connects. The camera quality is awesome and it is easy to install and has a great view. The night vision is fantastic. I love that I can zoom a bit with this and still have a pretty wide angle without having to switch lenses (like you have to do with infant optics). The battery life is great (lasts more than a day off the charger something I never got with the infant optics. I was lucky to get 6hrs). The range is awesome and works in every room in my house plus outside my home around the exterior. I just wish I had replaced the infant optics one sooner. I am even thinking about getting another one to keep in my living room and to have a second monitor downstairs that can hook up to both cameras!In summary: You canât beat this monitor for the price, quality, features, plus prime shipping. Donât waste money on the infant optics monitor. For reference, I purchased the monitor May 2024 and used it for about a week before writing this review.

Absolutely love this baby monitor! Living out in the boonies our internet always goes in and out and I love not having to worry about it during important times. I love that I can get move the camera if I need a better angle without having to physically move it around myself. Very simple setup and easy to use for even the people who aren’t tech saavy. Battery lasts all night and through the morning. Speaker works great. The clarity on the screen is great even in night mode. Overall one of the best purchases I’ve made since for my baby and I. I will be gifting these as well as recommending in the future. I will also be upgrading to the two way audio one in the future.

This is a reliable high quality camera baby monitor â and perfect for those on a budget! Crisp & bright picture quality, decent sound, and a long battery life. We had issues with connecting an additional camera from an older unit from last year, reached out to customer service, and they were extremely helpful in resolving the issue for us! Even sent us a new camera to pair with our new unit. I definitely would recommend this brand to anyone needing this type of baby monitor!

Great picture and sound . Night vision works great . Nice size screen. Very easy to set up . We are using to keep an eye on our disabled child during the night. We had a question and the company got back to us immediately. Great customer support. Company was a pleasure to deal with . We are just starting to use the other features, temp and lullabies. Itâs nice to be able to talk to our child and settle her down without having to go into her room. I like that there is no danger of others looking or watching as itâs not connected.

I’ve used a bunch of monitors. This is our 3rd monitor we’ve had for our kids. Our 1st monitor quit on us, my daughter hid the 2nd monitor for 3 months, so we ordered the Hello Baby one. I’ve also used other monitors as a nanny, baby sitter and watching my neices and nephews. This is by far my favorite.The settings setup I wish had the volume button on the field instead of in the menu, but that is a minor inconvenience at most. I also wish it was in color at night, but again, a minor inconvenience based on preference.The sound is great, the camera movement is smooth and easy to adjust by small increments, and the range of movement is phenomenal. We got a replacement camera to put in our nursery and it came with the gear to attach it to the wall which was much appreciated. The plastic piece that holds it to the wall is awesome – much better than just hanging on a screw like our old monitors. The fit is tight and not easy to jiggle, even when the cord is tugged. I will say the cord is a little shorter than I would have liked it to be, but that is only because of the frustrating placement of the plugs in our nursery. The image is clear and easy to make out even at night.The pairing for a second camera is incredibly simple and straightforward. The distance it reaches between monitor screen and camera is incredible and I can go across our circle to our neighbors across the street and with the antenna up, in their doorway, I can still see without the image cutting out with the camera at the back of the house.I have bought very little from Hello Baby because I am pretty brand loyal and I started with another brand for our daughter and just stayed with them. But I am definitely going to be buying more for the next baby from Hello Baby. Their customer service was amazing and very responsive. When I let them know I was having trouble finding the right replacement camera, they went on Amazon themselves, found me the right one, emailed me the link, a discount code and handled the shipping since I am nearing my due date. It was supposed to be here in another week or so according to the estimate. It was a huge stressor off of us. Great company, great customer service, and awesome product. I gave 5 stars with the small cons because others may not like those “downsides”, but they are not a big deal for us. I hope this helped anyone looking for details to make a decision. I have already recommended this to other friends multiple times.

I recently bought the newest version of the hello baby monitor. My older one that I got for my baby shower the monitor stopped working but the camera still worked. I loved the old version but was excited for the new version and had planned on keeping the old camera to connect with the new one. However I couldnât connect it to the new monitor so I reached out to customer service for help. They replied in less than 24 hours. I gave them all of my information and they informed me the old camera is. Different version as well and will not connect with the new model monitor. The old camera started to have some issues where it would occasionally lose connection to the monitor and sometimes would not turn left and right. Which wasnât as issue because I had it positioned where I could see the whole crib. But since I had these issues customer service graciously sent me ANOTHER new model monitor AND camera. They were extremely kind and responsive in a timely manner. The new model is such an upgrade! I loved the first one and I love this one even better! I can walk around my yard and do yard work and both the old and new monitor stays connected. I also have a 3000sq ft home and can go anywhere and still be connected. The picture is great, great quality in both day and night mode. It holds battery very well and I love that it has an eco mode where you can decide if you want it to turn on for the slightest of sounds or for loud sounds only and then after a few moments of silence it goes back off to eco mode. This saved me also being a new mom and keeping me from running in there anytime my baby made a noise while he was asleep. Iâve recommended this camera to all my friends. I also love that itâs not connected to the WiFi so only I can see it in the monitor and if for some reason the WiFi went out I could still use the monitor. I also love that if the camera disconnects for whatever reason it will beep to let you know. Seeing as my house is on the larger side and my baby sleeps on the other side than me this has come in handy a few times when we lost power at night and woke me up to let me know I need to pay more attention while Iâm sleeping. Lon story short. Get the camera and monitor. They are amazing and the customer service is as well! Also it doesnât cost an arm and a leg and still gives me a piece of mind behind able to check in my son.

I bought this monitor for my second baby after hating the one we had for our first (there was a light on that camera that lit up the whole dark room, this camera doesnât have it!! Yay!). We used it for the first 3 months since my 2nd was born and all the sudden the screen on the monitor went black. I contacted customer service and we tried to troubleshoot it. Ultimately, they decided to send us a new one. After a couple weeks of using it, somehow itâs better. The battery on this monitor is phenomenal. I forget to charge it (mom brain!) but I havenât had to worry about it going dead. The camera itself can zoom and swivel and rotate which has helped when we travel with it for set up in different spots! Our house is thick brick all through out so we had issues with range with our old monitor, absolutely none with this one!! I think the only thing I would like to see get better is the sound. With a loud sidling sometimes I donât hear the monitor as well as I did with our old monitor. I would recommend this to everyone!

Wifey and I got the first set back in 2022. We’ve been wanting a second camera (only) but couldnt find a camera only sale so we bought a second set. Thinking I could connect the new to the old, we tried on the new set. Updated software wouldn’t let us connect to the old one so I reached out to customer support. They were so helpful and instead of shipping us a camera only, they gave a new (updated version) set to us! Now we have three sets yes, but we have 2 new monitors, two new cameras and an old set we can use or donate! HelloBaby is awesome!The quality is also great! We hear every single noise our little one makes and the video feed is amazing. We literally take it everywhere we go for traveling so little one can take a nap in one room and we can enjoy the rest of the unit (example, AirBnb’s). For short, it’s awesome. Battery holds well on the old one, and the updated version has a bigger, longer battery!!Best,JS

I bought this product knowing I needed both my babies video monitoring simultaneously. We had low bandwidth internet so I specifically looked for a monitor that did not rely on internet connection. The cameras are very easy to install and to sync with parent monitor. The sound and video quality are great quality day or night. I really like being able to move the camera from the monitor and I like the eco friendly noise sensitivity feature so the monitor turns off when noise is not detected. We have 5 kiddos and had many unneeded products through the years, and We are very pleased with this product.After 6 months of use, the parent monitor power button stopped working, (wouldnât push in). I contacted customer service with the issue and they responded very promptly and sent replacement monitor and I received it within days. We are back in business and Iâm once again a very happy mamma! Iâd recommend this product based on the product itself but also the customer service which is hard to find these days!
