We installed this swing in our Japanese zen garden. It is perfect to drag your feet in the sand while day dreaming.The wood is beautiful and hopefully will last outdoor. I have a bit more reserve on the cordage used as it will age overtime and not sure if the small strings holding the loops in place will resist long the battering of the weather.On another note, if you follow the photo instruction from the listing, these do not make much sense for attaching the swing to a branch. It actually comes with 2 sturdy straps to loop around the branch then you can use the carabiners to attach the swing (also provided in the box). See photo.I was trying to use a large branch but the straps only allow for mid-size branches. Hopefully, I didn’t create a widow maker.If you want to hook it from a ceiling or underroof, you also have to large anchors provided.

This beautifully designed and manufactured swing is exactly what I was looking for to hang from a tree at our cabin in the woods. And, it’s ready to hang – right out of the package – no complicated assembly required. The rope length can be easily adjusted using the attached hooks.The solid wood base is made out of elm and has a clear (polyurethane?) coating on it to protect it. The rope, hardware, carabiners and tree straps are all high quality and adequately sized to support the 500 lbs claimed by the manufacturer. Everything about the swing gives me the confidence that it will last for many many years in its new permanent location in the woods.

This tree swing is so nice. Very wide, thick and sturdy wooden seat. Beautifully made. The rope is very thick and sturdy as well. All the hardware is included to make it easy to install whichever way you choose. You can easily adjust the length of rope. I believe it will hold a lot of weight easily and it should hold up very well. Looks great hanging from a nice, big tree. Fun to use. Nice to sit on. Kids love it. Adults love it. A++
