I’ve seen and used a lot of pack ‘n plays. But NEVER the one like Joovy! It’s out of this world, I’m serious. The quality of this product is AMAZING! The famous “G” brand is just junk in comparison to Joovy. How does it perform:- It is a very sturdy pack ‘n play, no way your child will flip it or push it, or move it in any way. It is just the design, the way it’s made, it will definitely stay still in one spot;- The mattress. First of all it’s thick and doesn’t bend under your child’s weight, which is great! It has wooden inserts that are keeping it flat. It has enough padding that makes it soft and provides cushioning. Also it comes with a waterproof velour cover. I still use a regular cotton jersey sheet over it even though I don’t need to. Just easier to wash the sheet than the whole mattress cover (they call it a sheet, but it’s waaay thicker than the sheet, you’ll see);- The changer. Advertised that holds up to 25 pounds, but it’s so sturdy that it can hold even more than that. The fabric is molded into the metal bars, plus additional snaps (that are very hard to undo). Has security belts. I love that it can be attached on either left or right side of the crib. I prefer the side with the organizer shelf, so I have everything in easy access;- Assembling and folding. Super easy! I had no hard times to do that. Love how compact it is when folded, doesn’t take much room in the trunk.- Fabric quality and other materials quality is on point;- Sleek design, lots of storage pockets and the shelf, yass! Now, what I wish was different:- The weight of it. It’s on the heavier side. But there’s a reason why, it wouldn’t be so sturdy if not that.- The price. It is not a cheap product. But I assure, you get what you pay for. It’s beyond amazing and can’t be compared to other brands!- The smell (at first!). Yes, it did smell like factory dye, I unpacked it and let it sit for a day in the room with open window. The smell was gone!My review wasn’t sponsored or anything like that. I just felt like I had to share, because I was so amazed by the quality of this product. Joovy exceeded my highest expectations! ❤️I hope it was helpful.

This is a conflicting 3 stars to give. I absolutely agree with the reviewers that have expressed difficulty in setting up and breaking down the playard. I don’t know if we just got units with stiffer components or what, but it took two adults, a lot of swearing, and thousands of degrees of rotation of the playard in every position possible to click the rails into place – and it was pretty much the same process breaking it down. My husband and I were not good friends after dealing with this thing. That said, the unit is incredibly solid, beautiful, and well-thought out. The side table is the most functional and best looking feature I’ve seen in any baby sleep furniture, and I wish there was something exactly like it to attach to a regular crib. But we are still on the fence about keeping it.To make things easier, here are something things we learned the EXTRA hard way about clicking and unclicking the rails when setting up or tearing down:- Make sure the middle portion has not been laid flat and is still mostly collapsed if setting up. If tearing down, collapse the middle portion before attempting to unclick the rails.- Turn the whole thing upside down, so feet in the air.- If setting up, start with the shorter rails and pull the feet gently toward each other so as to assist with the arching of the rails. Then try to click into place. The longer rails are much easier.- If tearing down, also pull the feet together and then the button on the rails should depress easily. You can do this alone by pulling the feet toward each other with your hands and depressing the button with your heel. The button literally felt immovable before I pulled the legs together.UPDATE: We have since been setting this up and breaking it down in 2 mins flat following the technique above. I suppose it’s reassuring that it takes so much to break down – there should be little chance of the thing collapsing on our baby. Now that we have it figured out and everything else about the playard rocks, I have upgraded from 3 to 5 stars.

I bought this for my new granddaughter who lives nearby and is here often. It is perfect and just what I needed. My daughter also loves it. The changing table part is the perfect height and it has enough of a cradle shape that there is no worry about her rolling off. I keep it attached because there is plenty of room at the other end for her to nap. The storage units on both ends are perfect. Everything I need for her is in one spot. This is my 7th granddaughter so I have had quite a few pak and play type things but this is my favorite so far. I love the mesh sides and I love the bassinet insert. Mine is gray and it doesn’t scream nursery which is what I wanted since it is in a corner of my dining room. It went together really well but I am the type who watches all the video instructions and reads the printed instructions first so that helps but it was easy.

I’m so happy we went with the Joovy Room! I was skeptical after reading all the reviews that mention how hard it is to set up and take down but I put it up myself, at 8 months pregnant, (initial setup) in only 30 minutes. Just read the instructions it comes with and it’s a breeze! The instructions are very clear and give many helpful tips. There’s also a picture booklet with diagrams for certain stages of set-up. One of the things I love about it…it can fit and go through our bedroom doorway without having to be collapsed! We plan on using it for our little one to sleep in at our bedside at night and then roll it into the living room during the day for those first few months. It’s awesome that we won’t have to collapse it every time! I’m very impressed with the quality as well. The hanging basket has plenty of room to store all the essentials for changes and blow outs. And the changing table is nice and sturdy and easy to swing out of the way. I’m sure I’ll have some updates after our little guy tests it out and I’ll post some pictures.

Got this for the 3rd child knowing I’d rather it last longer if I’m investing more $. The changing table attachment is super sturdy, and it takes quite a bit of effort to remove it. There’s enough room for a newborn to lay in the bassinet beside the changing table without having to remove it. Size-wise, it’s almost like having two travel-lite pack n plays side-by-side. I’ve never had twins, but it would work nicely for infants if one did.The footprint is much larger, but this will get a child much longer usage due to the length/width as opposed to a traditional size.Yes, it requires a larger, more pricey sheet (one comes with it already), but it’s totally worth it to spend the extra because it’s super-soft and waterproof. Customer service was friendly and easy to reach when I needed a replacement for the sheet after the waterproofing came detached from the sheet after the first wash. I figure it was a manufacturer defect, as the spare sheet I bought hasn’t shown any signs of doing this. The mat is quite heavy and clumsy to move around, but it seems to be a little softer than others. My older kids like storing stuff in the diaper compartment since we’re not really using it, and it’s held up to their abuse.I wouldn’t recommend this for frequent travel (or air travel) simply because of the weight, but we’ll definitely be taking it on occasional road trips with us.

Bought for a grandchild visiting. Was very happy that it was safe and sturdy. My daughter still recovering from childbirth couldn’t reach to the bottom to pick her child up. So we used the mid-way accessory. We trusted it to not drop. So over all it was wonderful crib to have. Loved the pockets on side for quick middle of the night diaper change. Also upon reading other reviews. It wasn’t an easy set up. Must have all joints undone and snapped into place at same time. Or it won’t snap together. (You’ll see what I mean. There’s two joints on each side of lock). Once that took place and everything locked in. It was a good sturdy crib. So it’s not a quick, set up as you would think. But safety was more important to us. Once you get it? It’s great!!!!Don’t set up in a living room and then think you can move into a bedroom. It didn’t fit through the door. And we had to break it down & re set up 🙁 so FYI. Set up in the room you plan on having crib.I liked that it had a plain design on the crib too.

I am expecting baby number 3 and we are basically start over since our youngest is 6yo and we had given away all baby things lol. We decide keep everything simple for this new sweet baby. After reading lots of reviews, watching YouTube videos on this pack ‘n play we decided to give it a try. A lot of the reviews said it was difficult to get up and down however I managed to do it 34 weeks pregnant alone with no problems. It goes up and down just like any other pack ‘n play. I love that it is simple and solid black so everything matches it, it’s has nice clean modern lines, light weight and easy to pop up and down as needed. The diaper/storage caddy that pops on the side is going to be so handy and baby will be sleeping in our room the first few months so I will have both a same place for baby to sleep and change his diapers in the middle of the night. For the price you cant be at this pack ‘n plat. I am so far very pleased! I’ll update once baby is born. 😊

Great so far! I was looking for something with a changing table at about 30/31 inches so I don’t break my back while changing the baby. This play yard is the perfect height. I love the elevated play area/bassinet for when the baby is still little so you don’t have to bend all the way down to put him down for a nap. I also love the soft waterproof sheet, all the storage areas, and just the overall look of the play yard. The teal is very pretty. For me, it will always stay assembled in the house. For on-the-go, I purchased a small baby dome.

Love this playard! The first time I set it up I had a hard time getting some of the plastic parts to snap together, but other than that it was really easy! I think the reason a lot of other people have issues setting this up is locking the walls into place is couterintuitive. You want to grab the middle, but that is where the release button is located so it won’t lock. You have to kinda grab off to the side instead. Once I got that figured out, snapping everything into place was quick and easy. Probably only a few minutes at most.I really like that the mattress is also what holds the whole thing closed. The bassinet is also really convenient, I tend to just leave the changing table snapped on overtop. The pockets on both the table and the end of the playard are huge! Perfect for keeping anything I need in them. The included sheet is really nice too, it was a little hard to get on with having to thread the velcro through, but its soft and being waterproof is a huge plus. My baby spits up a lot so it’s nice not having to worry about the mattress getting all dirty.

Almost scared away from this product from some of the reviews I had read and I am so glad I did not listen to them. After reading the instructions and using my brain assembly went really well. Some steps could have been clearer but after a second look at the instructions it soon became clear. I could understand how this may be difficult for some individuals but it is good practice for future lego creations . I also was concerned about a comment that was made about no sheets that fit the size of the mattress… After an Amazon search not only did I find additional sheets from the JOOVY company sold online but also found additional sheets from other venders online. The reasons that attracted me to this Item is ITS NOT UGLY! Actually it is very sleek and down right pleasant. The take down and set up after assembly is supper simple and I am very happy with the changing table and diaper attachment. Last but not least it is great quality for the price.(Tim’s Wife)
